Iron Cross is a completely different symbol than the Swastika even though they look very similar. Several militaries have Iron Cross medals. This example is Prussian and dates from 1813. The Iron Cross does not suffer the Nazi affiliation that Swastikas do in much of the world. This image is included in this gallery to point out the difference between these two, both very old symbols.
